EU Consortia on Personalized Medicine in Heart Failure
Heart Failure 2025 Belgrade
The Heart Failure Congress is the world’s leading event covering the entire spectrum of heart failure. It is the annual meeting of the Heart Failure Association of the ESC, whose mission is to improve quality of life and longevity through better prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart failure, including the establishment of networks for its management, education, and research. The 2025 edition, taking place in Belgrade and online, will feature an extensive and didactic programme with the world’s leading faculty and Late-Breaking Science.
As part of this prestigious event, the BIOTOOL-CHF project will participate in its second project workshop. Dr. Igor Diemberger will present BIOTOOL-CHF with a talk titled: What are the current unmet needs for congestion assessment in chronic heart failure?

Clustering and Networking
Joining the BIOTOOL-CHF project in this workshop will be the AI4HF and STRATIFYHF projects, with which BIOTOOL-CHF has initiated Networking and Clustering activities.
The “Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence for Personalised Risk Assessment in Chronic Heart Failure (AI4HF)” project is an innovative initiative that harnesses the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide personalized risk assessment and care plans for individuals living with Chronic Heart Failure. It utilizes advanced AI algorithms, global collaboration, and a patient-centered approach to improve healthcare outcomes.
Artificial intelligence-based decision support system for risk stratification and early detection of heart failure in primary and secondary care. The overarching AIM of this Research and Innovation Action is to develop and clinically validate a truly innovative AI-based Decision Support System (STRATIFYHF) for predicting risk of HF, facilitating its early diagnosis and progression prediction that will radically change how HF is managed in both primary and secondary care.
